Baby Alayna

Mike & Lindsay called me from the hospital to tell me the good news about Little Alayna’s arrival AND to set a date for a newborn session.  I was so happy to hear from them and excited about photographing their new bundle of joy.  It’s always best to hold newborn sessions before the baby is 2 weeks old.  Actually, the sooner the better.  Newborns will usually sleep in any position you place them in, but once they gain a certain amount of control over their own bodies, it’s hard to keep them curled up in cute little balls :)

I met this precious family in their home and baby girl was so well behaved.  The weather was perfect so we went outside to get some great shots of her.

Isn’t she precious?!  What a beautiful baby and beautiful family.  Thank you so much, Mike & Lindsay, for asking me to document such a special and fleeting time in your lives.
