So call me slow…but for the longest time I didn’t know what the whole “Fam(ily)” thing meant. I would see it in stores, written on frames, pillows, and other home decor’ items…but I never knew what it meant. I would actually get annoyed and be like “what’s the deal with the parenthesis around the ily everywhere?” … Finally, one day it hit me…”oh…the (ily) stands for (i love you)…I get it now”. How ironic (and clever) that there is a little “i love you” hidden in the word FAMILY.
This past week we lost a member of our family. My uncle passed away last Thursday at the beautiful age of 78. He was a kind man who loved to work in the yard and watch his garden grow. He will be missed…especially by my aunt…who is having a difficult time dealing with her loss. It’s with a heavy heart, that I ask you to please lift her up in prayer. Please pray for peace, comfort, and strength. I’ve been reminded this week, how precious life is and how important it is to let others know that you love them. When all is said and done…what kind of impact did you have on those around you…what kind of legacy will you leave…what really matters?
This picture was taken last year at my aunt’s birthday celebration.

I’m thanking you all in advance for your prayers…thank you, thank you, thank you to my blog Fam(ily)
