Hello stranger…did you miss me?
I’ve missed you lots and I apologize for being so unfaithful to my blog :( I hope you’ll forgive me.
October FLEW by…just like most of the months have this year. Where did 2009 go? I’ve been busy editing and I’m ready to share ALL the things I’ve been working on:) Of course, I can’t share it all in one post, so I’ll be “blog-catching” (that’s catching up on my blog) over the next few days.
First up…
Please meet Adrienne and Hayden…
Adrienne booked one of my Ravine Garden Holiday Mini Sessions…and I’m so glad that she did. She and I have chatted back and forth on Facebook and MySpace but didn’t officially meet until her session. She has an adorable son, Hayden…who reminds me lots of my little Carolyn…busy, busy, busy :) It was a pleasure getting to know them but a challenge capturing that “perfect picture”. As I was going through the images from their session, I realized that the “perfect picture” is not always about facing forward, smiling at the camera…it’s about capturing moments in time, that will never be replaced. It’s about capturing feelings, that are fleeting. Sometimes, it’s about capturing who you are beyond the “say cheese smile”….who really likes cheese that much anyway?
