Shannon & Renee are married!

Shannon and Renee were married on April 8th, 2009 in St. Augustine.  The ceremony was held in a beautiful hand-made castle.  This sweet couple kept the location a secret and surprised their guests the day of the wedding.  It was a very intimate ceremony without a wedding party or big reception, but a beautiful exchange of vows in front of the people they love – their closest family & friends.  I felt honored to be there and witness such a sweet gift from God.

The location was gorgeous.  Castle Otttis provided a beautiful backdrop for Renee & Shannon’s wedding ceremony.  Filled with only natural light, coming from all directions, this was a challenge to shoot in but I think the results are worth the effort :)

I really appreciate your words of encouragement and I'm a little embarrassed you remember the whole "flower field break-down" post from a year ago :) It's definitely been a year of learning and growing. I have to say this year's flower field sessions went much better...but I still have such a long way to go...God's timing is perfect...that's what I hold on to.

May 28, 2009 - 8:55 pm He Keeps Me Singing - Jenn, I am sitting here with a grin on my face thinking back one year to your post about the flower field and your insecurities as a learning photographer. Post after post proves that you have NO reasons to doubt the gifts that God has given you in this field. I may go so far as to say that you are ranking at the top of my list for any kind of session but especially these weddings. You have "it." Again--nice job.
