About Julian
As a 5th generation Atlantan, Julian Alexander’s roots to the city run deep. After graduating of the University of Georgia’s College of Journalism, Julian Alexander returned to his hometown in 2022 to begin his freelance career.
As a photojournalist he has worked for United Press International, the Athens Banner-Herald, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Alexander’s current work is primarily in sports and commercial photography, where he shoots, assists, and works as a digital technician.
In partnership with Atlanta United, he has served as the Match Photographer for United’s MLS Next Pro Team since 2024. Alexander also works with the first team. In addition to his work with United, he’s worked with the Atlanta Falcons since 2023.
Commercial clients include Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, and Adidas Running.
